Dispute Engine
Your credit report has errors in it.
You are allowed to say so.
About one in five consumers has a confirmed error on at least one credit report. The law gives you the right to dispute it yourself, for free. What it does not give you is a straight answer about what is actually wrong, or the right words to say it.
This is software that reads your report in your browser, points at the things that look wrong, and helps you write the letters. You make every call. You mail every envelope.
Five steps, in order. You can stop after any of them and pick up later.
Your report never leaves this device
The PDF is parsed by your own browser. Your accounts, balances, and personal details are stored locally on this computer and are never sent to MyDemesne, to a server, or to anyone else. There is no account to create and no one to sign in as.
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the whole tool with it open. No request carries your report.
The flip side is that the data is only here. Clearing your browser storage, or using a different computer, means starting over. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.
How it works
- 01
Bring your report
Pull your free reports from annualcreditreport.com. Upload the PDF or type the accounts in by hand. Both paths work, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- 02
Review the candidates
The software checks each account against the FCRA and against itself: obsolete items, balances above the credit limit, past-due amounts above the balance, late marks after the account closed. Each one is a candidate for you to judge.
- 03
Decide what is wrong
You confirm or dismiss every finding and say why in your own words. Nothing becomes an assertion until you make it one.
- 04
Write and mail the letters
The software drafts the letters with the right citations and deadlines. You print them, sign them, and mail them yourself. Send them certified, with tracking.
- 05
Track the clock
Bureaus generally get 30 days. Log what comes back, and the software tells you when a follow-up is available and when it would just be noise.
Where the software stops
Credit repair companies charge a monthly fee to mail letters you are entitled to mail yourself. The honest ones are doing roughly what this software helps you do, and charging for the typing. We would rather hand you the typing.
That trade has a cost, and you should know it going in. The work is yours:
- Nobody here signs your name. You confirm every item and you sign every letter.
- Nobody here calls the bureaus. The envelope goes out under your return address, not ours.
- Nobody here promises you a deletion or a score. Anyone who does is selling you something.
- Nothing costs money, so nothing is priced per item removed.
- You will not find "Section 609 loophole" scripts or identity-theft workarounds here. The first does not work; the second is fraud.
And the part nobody selling credit repair says out loud: if the bad mark is true, it stays. A late payment that really happened does not come off because you asked, and disputing it burns a cycle you may want later. Bureaus are allowed to treat repeat disputes as frivolous. When it looks like you are about to do that, this software will say so instead of printing the letter.
Free. No account. Nothing to cancel.
